Creative Engineering has been started and in the business from past 3 years with the intention of giving the Best Quality Honing tools and High Customer Satisfaction.

Part of our self-concept is to stay technologically one step ahead. Only with trendsetting techniques, versatile process solutions and the constant development of new ideas we can meet the high demands of our customers.

Honing uses a special tool, called a honing stone or a hone, to achieve a precision surface. The hone is composed of abrasive grains that are bound together with an adhesive. Generally, honing grains are irregularly shaped and about 10 to 50 micrometers in diameter (300 to 1,500 mesh grit). Smaller grain sizes produce a smoother surface on the work piece.

Fixtures

A fixture is a work-holding or support device used in the manufacturing industry. What makes a fixture unique is that each one is built to fit a particular part or shape. The main purpose of a fixture is to locate and in some cases hold a work piece during either a machining operation or some other industrial process. A jig differs from a fixture in that it guides the tool to its correct position in addition to locating and supporting the work piece.

The primary purposes of fixtures is to:

  1. Reduce the cost of production.
  2. Maintain consistent quality.
  3. Maximize efficiency.
  4. Enable a variety of parts to be made to correct specifications.
  5. Reduce operator errors.

    Types of Fixtures:

General Purpose - They are usually relatively inexpensive and can be used to hold a variety and range of sizes of workpieces (examples: Vices, chucks, split collets).

Special Purpose - They are designed and built to hold a particular workpiece for a specific operation on a specific machine or process.
